1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Rift Studio ("Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

2. License Grant

Riftborn Audio grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Software on up to two (2) computers owned or controlled by you, subject to the edition you purchased.

• Intro: Up to 32 audio tracks, stereo output.
• Producer: Up to 128 audio tracks, surround up to 7.1.
• Studio: Up to 128 audio tracks, Dolby Atmos 7.1.4, all features included.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software.
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the Software or your license key.
• Use the Software to develop a competing product.
• Remove or alter any copyright notices within the Software.

4. Intellectual Property

The Software, its code, design, and documentation are the intellectual property of Riftborn Audio. Your license grants usage rights only — no ownership is transferred.

Content you create using the Software is yours. Riftborn Audio claims no rights over your music, projects, or exports.

5. Updates

Studio edition licenses include lifetime free updates. Intro and Producer editions include 12 months of free updates from the date of purchase.

6. Free Trial

The free trial provides full Studio-edition features for 30 days. No payment information is required. After the trial period, the Software will cease to function until a license is purchased.

7. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day refund policy from the date of purchase. To request a refund, contact support@riftdaw.com.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Software is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Riftborn Audio be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification.
